Hi. I’m Bakin.
Six months old, male, Aussie Shepherd/Border Collie mix. Professional Lover.
My foster family says I should tell you a little about myself. I told them my face should be enough, but apparently “being ridiculously cute” isn’t a complete biography.
Here’s the important stuff:
I’m
food motivated.
I “have priorities.” If you’ve got snacks, I’ll happily pretend you’re the greatest person I’ve ever met.
I’m also a certified black belt cuddle ninja. If you’re sitting down, I’ll probably be in your lap. If you’re standing up, I’ll be wondering why we aren’t sitting down together.
My energy level is about a 4 out of 10. Sure, I’ll play with toys (I LOVE toys), but I’m not looking to train for a marathon. I’d much rather toss a toy around for a bit, then sprawl out in the grass like I’m filming a luxury vacation commercial.
Speaking of grass… I could lounge outside for hours just enjoying the breeze. It’s one of my favorite places to be.
I’m kennel trained and sleep through the entire night without accidents because beauty sleep is important. I’m also about 80% potty trained. I’m really trying here, but sometimes my puppy brain gets a little ahead of itself. I’m getting better every day.
I love other dogs, I’m great with kids, and while I haven’t officially interviewed any cats yet, my foster family thinks I’d probably make a pretty good coworker.
Oh—and if you’re working on a household project, congratulations! You now have an assistant. Painting? I’ll supervise. Folding laundry? I’ll quality-check every sock. Gardening? I’ll inspect every hole. Building furniture? I’ll sit exactly where you need to stand. It’s just the kind of helpful guy I am.
More than anything, I just want to be with my people. Whether we’re playing, relaxing outside, watching TV, or doing absolutely nothing, I’m happiest when I’m included.
