Birthday: March 1, 2025
Marksy is an easygoing, well-behaved cat who loves attention and expresses his contentment with loud purring.
There are so many reasons to love this boy.
He is very chill. He hasn’t shown interest in any toys, but seems to prefer snuggling next to his person or watching the outside world from a window or screened porch.
This darling biscuit maker has the
sweetest and softest
meow. He can be picked up and held. He readily enters his cat carrier and doesn’t stress over car rides.
He'
s in a serious relationship with his brush! The way to soothe his fears or win his heart is brushing him with his favorite brush. He will purr his heart out when brushed,
especially when brushed under his chin.
Not much is known about Marksy’s start in life. He was discovered in March of 2026 eating at a feral cat feeding station. We don't know what challenges he experienced while trying to survive outside, but at some point, he was bitten by an cat with FIV. For several months, he ran and scattered with the other feral cats when a human approached the feeding area. After a few months, he made it clear that he wasn't feral; he was through with the outdoor life! Once secured and inside his foster home, Marksy adjusted quickly to living contentedly with his foster family.
Marksy's adoption donation is covered by an anonymous donor and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.
