A lifetime of love, patience, and commitment
Piglet has already overcome a heartbreaking start to life. Now she's simply looking for a family who will make sure she always feels safe, loved, and right where she belongs.
Training, Adjustment & What to Expect
Although Piglet is still young, she's at a wonderful age to continue learning and building confidence. Like all rescue dogs, she'll need a little time to adjust to her new surroundings and family.
Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule:
3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe
3 Weeks to learn your household routine
3 Months to fully settle into family life
Piglet is intelligent, eager to please, and responds well to positive reinforcement. Continued training and socialization will help her grow into a confident, well-mannered companion.
Her new family should continue providing:
Positive reinforcement training
Daily exercise and interactive play
Consistent routines and gentle guidance
Continued socialization with people and other animals
Mental enrichment through toys and games
Plenty of love, patience, and encouragement
With kindness, structure, and affection, Piglet will continue to blossom into a loyal companion who will bring endless happiness to her forever family.
Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care
Adopting Piglet is a lifelong commitment that includes providing excellent veterinary care, exercise, companionship, and a loving home.
As part of responsible pet ownership, Piglet will need:
Annual veterinary wellness examinations
Routine vaccinations as recommended by your veterinarian
Monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
A nutritious diet to maintain a healthy weight
Daily physical exercise and mental enrichment
Continued training and socialization
A safe, loving indoor home where she is treated as a cherished member of the family
We recommend scheduling a wellness examination with your veterinarian shortly after adoption to establish care and ensure Piglet continues to live a long, healthy, and happy life.
