Hi, I'm Maverick, a handsome German Shepherd X waiting for his forever home. I was found as a stray after my family moved to an apartment and couldn't take me with them. It seems they gave me to a family member who was supposed to bring me to the shelter, but I ended up being dumped instead. Despite this tragedy, I remain a hopeful and loving companion. I need a little time to open up and trust you, but once I do, you'll have a devoted friend for life.

I'm an indoor dog at heart and I enjoy the simple pleasures in life: peaceful walks in the park, relaxing in the shade, and playing with my favorite toys. I am also a fan of the beach and ocean, and I especially love a good splash in a kiddie pool to cool off. I'm also a toy enthusiast with an agility tunnel talent! I enjoy treats, especially jerky! Although I once lived in a home with three children, the youngest being 6 years old, my ideal home would be with an experienced dog owner and as the only pet.
