Reno is a smaller-framed GSD. He was found running the streets of Riverside and was picked up by Animal Control.
Reno came to us with Kennel Cough and with very flaky skin. Surprisingly, Reno recovered from his Kennel Cough faster than we are used to, and his skin did a 180 in a week once placed on the right food.
Reno’s temperament is pretty easy going, he is very welcoming with any adult human, he is playful and has a soft mouth when taking treats.
He just got neutered, and he was on the Top Tier of being patient, healing, and being very accepting of his collar. Reno is a very healthy and happy dog; he does not exhibit any shyness or timidity.
Reno is one of our “go-to” playmates at our facility; he loves being around dogs and people.
We have no information about cats, small dogs, birds, or children.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.
Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.
We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend! Check our our website to see where we'll be next!
