Darla’s beginning wasn’t the easiest. She was rescued from a wash where she was living among unhoused individuals and numerous dogs, and she arrived unsure of people and still learning that the world could be a safe place. Since then, she has absolutely blossomed. With patience, consistency, and love, the shy little girl we first met has discovered just how much fun it is to have people she can trust.
And when Darla sees those people? Cue the wiggles. This girl lights up from nose to tail, greeting her friends with the happiest full-body wiggle dance. Watching her confidence grow has been such a joy, and we know there is still so much more waiting for her once she has a family of her very own.
