Meet Luna, the silver Bengal mix gal. Luna arrived to the Shelter as an owner surrender after her previous guardian was unable to continue caring for her. Luna has lived in a home with teens and adults. She was primarily indoors in her previous home, although she would escape out the door occasionally. During her escape attempts, she would wander over to the neighbor’s yards. To keep her safe and sound as well as the neighborhood peace, an indoor only home OR access to a Catio in her next home is likely a better fit. She enjoys playing with toys. Luna has lived with another cat previously and may do well in a home with a feline friend provided there is a slow, thoughtful introduction. Luna is available for pre-adoption. Come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
