Hi, my name is Davie Jones. I may only have one eye, but that does not stop me from
being a sweet loving boy with a big heart who adores his humans.
I’m a bright and happy guy filled with curiosity, kindness and the desire to please. I love
carrying my toys around, am good at entertaining myself, enjoy belly rubs and like to
play tug with my canine sister. Love walking in the park every day and sniffing out all the
good smells. I get along great with the senior resident dog and cat even though the cat
keeps her distance.
I’m full of curiosity and get excited around new people and dogs. When we first meet I
like to jump up for attention, but also am very gentle. For that reason I would probably
do best in a home without small children. I keep working hard on my basic obedience
and manners. I may alert you to strangers in the neighborhood but I’m working on
calming my bark. I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so it would be great if I had a
fenced in yard to enjoy some puppy zoomies.
I learn quickly and know sit, down, and leave it. I am kenned trained and go into my
kennel and sleep throughout the night. My people are typically home during the day, but
we are working on my confidence to be alone while waiting for them to return. I am
house trained and have only had one accident in the house.
Davie is delightful and is going to be a wonderful addition to a loving, active home. He is
still learning and would do best with a family who can give positive reinforcement and
continue to help build his confidence and good manners. With a little patience and a
kind voice…you’ll see his silly, affectionate personality. This sweet boy is looking for the
loving forever home he deserves.
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$525.00
