MEET CHOCOLATE CHIP — EXTRA SWEET WITH A FEW SPECIAL INGREDIENTS!
Every batch needs a Chocolate Chip, and ours happens to be a beautiful medium-haired black kitten with a whole lot of love packed into one fluffy little package.
Chocolate Chip is a special-needs kitten. She is deaf and has mild cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), so sometimes navigating the world takes a little extra thought. She isn't always aware of potential hazards, and occasionally her internal GPS seems to announce, “Recalculating…”
But Chocolate Chip doesn't let any of that interfere with the important business of being a kitten.
She's very playful, loves being near her people, and is a certified shadow kitty. If you're moving, there's a good chance Chocolate Chip is somewhere near your feet. If you're sitting, she'll find you. If she's nowhere to be found, check the nearest cozy sleeping spot.
And when Chocolate Chip sleeps, she SLEEPS. Because she's deaf, calling her for treats isn't going to work. This girl sometimes has to be physically awakened to discover she's been missing snack time!
Chocolate Chip is one big serving of clingy cat to love.
Because she can't hear and sometimes gets directionally challenged, she would benefit from having another friendly kitty or a gentle small dog as a companion. A furry buddy can help give her cues about what's happening around her while also providing a built-in playmate.
Chocolate Chip may need a home willing to make a few accommodations to keep her safe, but in return you get a playful, devoted little shadow who plans to stick to you closer than syrup on a waffle.
