Penny is a sweet dilute tortoiseshell cat with lovely green eyes and small stature. When she was brought to LCCR, she went to a foster home with a mother and her 9-year-old child. She quickly adapted to the new living arrangement and adored being doted on. She then moved to a different foster, where she is currently residing.
Penny has found all sorts of interests during her stay! Her favorite toys are shoe strings and toy mice that rattle. She absolutely loves any and all attention, especially neck scratches and full body pets! Giving her pets in just the right spot on her back or chest will have her giving you kisses all throughout. This sweet girl will prioritize love and pets over food any day. She's even willing to ignore a freshly filled food bowl to get some attention from you! Penny does love to scratch and has come to use her flat cardboard scratcher most frequently over her vertical scratching posts. She would love to have several of them available throughout her new home to promote good scratching habits!
She is good with children, always gentle. Penny may be extra shy around new adult men, but with a little patience, she will come around. Although she has not spent long periods of time with other cats and dogs, the times that she has been exposed to them she has appeared completely unbothered, if not curious.
Penny's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
