Shadow was brought into the shelter along with his four brothers (Onyx, Ink, Jet, Soot) on July 18th at 6 weeks old. He was underweight but otherwise healthy, and has been with his foster since July 19th. He wears a blue collar.He has no experience with kids or dogs, but is unfazed at the resident cat hissing at him whenever she gets the chance.Summary of Personality: Shadow is the runt of his brothers, but you can find his picture next to âsmall but mightyâ in the dictionary. He has never let it slow him down or deter him in any way, commonly playing with his biggest brother and valiantly holding his own. He loves playing with springs, and will carry around the plastic springs around the room as his trophy. He is comfortable being held, and while the look on his face says âI have better things to do than thisâ, he enjoys his pets and kisses while being held by his foster. He always greets his fosters when they come into his room, happily trotting over after jumping down from whatever he was sleeping on with all of the grace of a lead weight (giving his fosters a laugh every time). He is obsessed with Churu, and turns into the cutest little gremlin to get his tube treat, grabbing onto his fosterâs hand to make sure he gets his turn. He is fun, playful, and loving, and will make a fantastic cat for his future adopters!Shadow would do best if he was adopted with his favorite brother/playmate Soot (they are a super cute dynamic duo!), as they are usually found spending the majority of their time together (or with his favorite napping buddy Jet!).
