Meet Rocket, also known as Rowdy Rocket! Rocket is a 7 week old, 4 pound Chug, a Chihuahua and Pug mix, and he has quickly earned his nickname. He is the resident opportunist of the litter and rarely lets a chance for fun pass him by. If there is something to play with, explore, climb, investigate, or wrestle, you can count on Rocket being right in the middle of it. He is one of the most energetic puppies in the bunch and approaches each day with plenty of curiosity and enthusiasm.
Rocket loves playing with his siblings, and if they happen to be napping when he is ready for fun, he has been known to let them know that nap time is officially over. Fortunately, he also loves toys and happily gives every new addition to the playpen his personal inspection and approval. When his people walk by, Rocket is usually there to greet them, jumping up against the playpen to make sure he is noticed and occasionally checking to see if today might finally be the day he figures out his great escape. So far, the playpen remains undefeated.
Rocket has also been raised around his foster family’s larger dogs and is curious and confident around them. He is a silly, outgoing little puppy with lots of energy and a big personality who will need a family ready to continue his training and give him plenty of appropriate ways to play and explore.
