Other dogs in the ward were barking loudly. Dog stayed seated as handler opened the door and called to her. Went around to the back of the kennel. She was seated and turned to face the door. Stood with lowered head, pulled back ears, fast wagging tail. Approached and put head into handler's open hands. Easy to leash while petting. Lowered/crouched body language walking through the ward. Stood tall with neutral posture and loose wagging tail walking down the hallway and outside to yard. Removed leash in the yard. Dog walked and sniffed throughout. Approached handler with soft face, pulled back ears, very loose, relaxed body language and loose wagging tail. Leaned into pets all over head, neck, shoulders, and chest. Put paws on handlers lap. Pricked ears and loose wagging tail looking towards another dog in the adjacent yard. Easy to re-leash and bring back inside. Stalled at the ward door, pulled back ears and darted around a little at the sound of loud barking in the ward. Jogged through the ward with handler. Entered kennel. Followed tossed treats away from door as handler exited.B A: Dog is fearful and environmentally sensitive. Shows enjoyment with pets.B P: Make available for adoption.
