Marley is a fluffy, loving, happy go lucky boy who seems to think everyone he meets is his new best friend. At 10 months old, he is a beautiful boy who looks like a Flat Coated Retriever mix, but as 1 of 7 in his litter, many of his siblings look more black lab like.

His foster says Marley loves food and people, is a total goofball, and is very cuddly. He loves playing ball, although he is still figuring out that he is supposed to bring it back! He is learning “come” and “sit” and is eager to please.

Marley came to Virginia after we noticed something was wrong with his front leg while he was in a shelter in Puerto Rico. His leg is now severely atrophied and he rarely uses it despite pain management. After his upcoming amputation, we expect Marley to be much more comfortable and ready to run, play, and enjoy puppy life.

Marley needs more than a family. He needs someone willing to help him through this next step and show him just how wonderful life can be. In return, he promises plenty of cuddles, goofy puppy antics, and unconditional love. ❤️
