About Spruce’s Breed:
Our best guess is that Spruce is a Chihuahua mixed breed. Chihuahua puppies are tiny, spirited, and full of personality, often blending bold curiosity with sweet, snuggly affection. Even at a young age, they’re people oriented and thrive on being close to their humans, soaking up attention and reassurance. They’re smart, expressive, and eager to learn, especially when training is kept positive and gentle.
Their ideal home is one that offers patience, structure, and lots of loving interaction. Because Chihuahuas are small and still developing confidence, they flourish in families who can guide them through puppyhood with consistency and kindness. They do well in homes where they’re included in daily life, protected from rough handling, and given plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and bond. With warmth, routine, and supportive humans, Chihuahua puppies grow into devoted, joyful companions.
What to Love about Spruce:
Spruce has super soft fur you can’t help but pet and gorgeous little markings that make him stand out. Spruce also has an adorable habit of “chatting” with you in his tiny puppy voice — it’s impossible not to smile when he does it! He’s playful, social, and loves rolling around with his siblings, who are his very best friends.
Spruce has been wonderful with other dogs and kids, and while he hasn’t met cats yet, he’d be open to a gentle meet and greet. He’s a bright, eager little guy who’s learning quickly and already picking up the basics of puppy potty training. Sensitive in the sweetest way, Spruce aims to please and thrives with encouragement and affection.
He can’t wait to become part of a family all his own — one that will enjoy his happy nature, his tiny “conversations,” and his cuddly, loving heart. With patience, guidance, and lots of love, Spruce will grow into the very best boy!
