It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.
PRINCESS TIANA and several feline family members were saved from a horrific hoarding case in Riverside, California. We know they are all related because the horrible human woman, kept letting them mate. When the Rescue Mama found out she took action.
As of October 2026, 115 cats have either gone to other rescues or have been saved by us. You will know who these cats are by their names. They have all been named after the show "Once Upon A Time". Aside from the necklaces the kitties wear in their professional pictures, Rescue Mama names her rescue cats after shows she is currently watching at the time she saves them.
Meet PRINCESS TIANA, a beautiful young adult black Bombay girl from Riverside, California, whose sleek, midnight-black coat and charming personality make her a little queen with a big heart and just the right amount of sass. This lovely lady has a playful spirit, a sweet disposition, and a personality that keeps life interesting. She knows how to enjoy the good things in life, and she is ready to find a loving family who will treat her like the princess she is.
PRINCESS TIANA came from a difficult hoarding situation in Riverside, but her past does not define the wonderful girl she is today. Despite the challenging circumstances she experienced, she has a friendly, affectionate nature and plenty of love to share. Now she is ready for a new chapter filled with comfort, security, tasty treats, and people who appreciate all the little things that make her special.
This princess is no wallflower! PRINCESS TIANA loves to play and enjoys having opportunities to show off her fun-loving side. Whether she is chasing a favorite toy or investigating something interesting, she brings a lively energy that makes her entertaining company. And of course, every royal needs a few special indulgences. PRINCESS TIANA is especially fond of treats and wet food, so mealtime is an excellent opportunity to win her heart and remind her how wonderful life can be.
PRINCESS TIANA also enjoys affection and is comfortable being picked up, making her a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a cat who can combine playfulness with cuddly moments. She has a sweet, friendly personality with a little dash of sass to keep things interesting. After all, a princess should be allowed to express her opinions every now and then!

She would do best with a thoughtful introduction and a companion who understands that every queen needs room to rule her own little kingdom. - Sign Adoption Contract

- Take the Kitty Home

VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. VISITING HOURS: 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours.. FOR HOLIDAYS email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are the same 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet and greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
