Some dogs are sweet. Some are funny. Some are beautiful. And then there is Lady Autumn, who somehow manages to be ALL of those things at once!We don't hand out special names just because they sound pretty, but this 10-month-old girl has earned the title of Lady Autumn by a country mile. At 38 pounds, she's a lovely Carolina Dog mix who will likely mature into a beautiful 42-pound adult. She's the perfect size for a whole lot of adventure, and believe us, this girl has plenty of adventure in her!Lady Autumn was found as a stray, but you would never know it from the way she approaches life. She has been an absolute delight in her foster home, where she has made friends with the resident foster dog and shown just how much fun two happy dogs can have together. She is smart, eager to please, has great recall, and seems to have an endless supply of enthusiasm. And did we mention that she SMILES? This girl seems to wear a grin just about all the time. Her happiness is contagious, and watching her play is enough to make anyone smile right along with her. Now, let's talk about the kind of home this girl deserves. Lady Autumn is not going to be content with a quick trip outside and a 30-minute walk around the block. She has a big, active spirit and needs room to stretch those legs, explore, run, and enjoy life. A securely fenced yard is a must for her, giving her the freedom to burn off that youthful energy safely. She would absolutely love an active person or family who enjoys running, hiking, outdoor adventures, and making the most of every day. She's also done wonderfully playing with another dog and could make a fantastic canine companion.Children, young adult couples, active families, or vibrant empty nesters could all find a wonderful companion in this girl. She has the intelligence to learn, the personality to entertain you, and the zest for life to keep you moving. Lady Autumn isn't just looking for someone to feed her and give her a place to sleep. She's looking for a partner in adventure, someone who wants a dog to share life's everyday moments and its biggest adventures.Imagine coming home to that big smile every day. Imagine a hiking trail with her bouncing along beside you, a game of fetch in the backyard, or simply watching her enjoy the life she was meant to have. That's what Lady Autumn is waiting for. She's young, she's joyful, she's full of promise, and she has so much love and life ahead of her. We have a feeling that whoever adopts this girl isn't just getting a dog. They're getting a whole new reason to get outside, laugh a little louder, and enjoy every single day.If you have room in your home, your yard, and your heart for a girl like Lady Autumn, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.comand tell us where you live. This girl is ready to make someone very, very lucky!
