Eeeeeeek, it's Eileen!!! Eileen came to the shelter in pretty rough shape and our medical team noticed that her back right leg was in need of some serious intervention. Over the next 2 weeks, Eileen should be housed in a small room and not have the opportunity to jump up/down or climb, as she continues to recover from right pelvic limb amputation surgery. At the end of this period if she is doing well, the activity restrictions may be gradually lifted. This will allow her to build up her strength and balance as she adjusts to life as an amputee. If the adopter has questions or concerns about this kitten's health over the next 2 weeks, they should contact FWACC during normal business hours or otherwise seek veterinary care.Eileen will need to return to FWACC on Tuesday 11/10/26 to have the skin sutures removed from the right pelvic limb amputation incision.
