Meet Chanel!! Chanel is a shy girl who believes in taking things slow. The shelter is a scary place for her, and she'll need a patient adopter who is willing to let her set the pace as she adjusts and builds trust. A gentle approach goes a long way with this gal. Soft voices, slow movements, and allowing her to approach on her own terms will help her feel more comfortable. It may take her a few minutes to work up the courage, but once she does, you'll see the lovebug hiding underneath those nerves! Chanel has a couple special medical considerations her future family should know about. She is declawed in both front paws, so her adopter should watch for signs of discomfort or sensitivity around her paws. She also has some dental abnormalities involving her upper canine teeth. While no invasive dental procedures are recommended at this time, regular at-home dental care is encouraged. Her beautiful longer coat will also need regular brushing to prevent mats. FWACC reserves the right to place Chanel in her best fit home.
