Arthur is a sweet, gentle boy who just needs a little time to let his personality shine! He's on the shy side when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar environments, but don't let that fool you. Once Arthur learns to trust you and feels safe, he blossoms into a very affectionate and cuddly little guy. He loves being pet and may even surprise you by climbing right into your lap for some quality cuddle time!
Like any typical kitten, Arthur loves to play and enjoys a tasty serving of wet food. He especially loves playing with the other foster cats and is always up for a good game or wrestling match. One of his favorite playmates is his sister, Morgana, and the two of them love a good tussle! Having feline friends around is something Arthur truly enjoys.
Arthur does have one special talent: he's an expert at hide-and-seek! When something scares him or he feels overwhelmed, his first instinct is to find a hiding spot. And he's VERY good at it! He can be surprisingly difficult to find, so helping him adjust to his new home by starting him out in a smaller, quiet space will be important. Giving him a chance to become comfortable with his surroundings before gradually introducing more of the home will help him build confidence.
Because Arthur is a shy boy who needs time and patience, a chaotic or overly busy household probably isn't the best fit. He would love a calmer home with older, respectful children who understand that shy kitties need time to adjust and that their boundaries should be respected.
Arthur is looking for:
A patient, understanding family willing to let him warm up at his own pace.
A home with another young cat or kitten to play with. A feline companion is a must!
A calm, predictable environment where he can feel safe and build confidence.
Older, respectful children who understand his shy nature.
A family willing to start him in a smaller space while he adjusts to his new surroundings.
Plenty of playtime, wet food, gentle pets, and eventually lots of lap cuddles!
Arthur may not be the kitten who runs up to greet you on day one, but give him a little time and you'll discover what a loving companion he can be. Behind that shy exterior is an affectionate boy who wants to play, snuggle, and be part of a family. He's just waiting for someone willing to give him the time and patience to get there. Arthur's adoption donation is $175 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.
