Name: Benji
Breed: Bernadoodle (St bernard /Poodle Mix)
Age: 5 year old
Weight: 45 lbs
Neutered: Yes
Health: Healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations
Intake Date: May 15, 2025
Personality:
Benji is the definition of friendly and affectionate! This lovable boy is full of joy and eager to bond with people. Whether it's cuddle time on the couch or a romp in the yard, Benji is always up for fun and companionship. He’s also smart and eager to please, which makes him a great candidate for continued training.
Note: Benji should be fed separately if placed in a home with other dogs. Like many rescue dogs, he can be a little territorial around food. With patience, time, and positive reinforcement, he will continue to grow more comfortable and confident.
Owner’s Responsibilities:
Adopting a dog like Benji is a commitment to his health, happiness, and well-being. This includes:
Providing daily walks and playtime
Regular grooming and vet visits
Continued positive training and socialization
Nutritious food and a safe feeding routine
Lots of love, patience, and attention
❗Things to Consider Before Adopting:
Time: Do you have time to walk, play with, and train a young, active dog?
Allergies: Anyone in the home allergic to dogs?
Finances: Can you afford vet care, food, grooming, and supplies?
Living Situation: Do you rent or own? If you rent, does your building or landlord allow dogs?
Other Pets: If you have other pets, are they ready to welcome a new dog?
❤️ A Lifelong Commitment:
Bringing Benji into your life means making a promise—for his whole life. Dogs depend on us for everything. Benji deserves stability, love, and to be treated as a member of the family.
Do Not Chain This Dog Outside:
Benji is not a backyard-only or chained dog. He is a companion who needs to live indoors with his people. He thrives on attention and connection.
