Max is a very handsome, affectionate 4-year-old pure GSD. For financial reasons, his family need to find him a new loving home. He is obedient, loves being pampered and petted, and is an all around good boy.
He is very smart and has taken an obedience course. He already knows SIT, DOWN, HEEL (walking beside the owner off-leash) and going into his crate. He walks nicely on a leash but can be walked off leash because he has great recall.
Max always does well with children who visit the home. He has never lived with another dog, but just observes animals while on his walks. He has not lived with a cat.
An active family or person who enjoys taking walks and spending time with Max would be perfect since he is the best buddy. He loves to play with his ball and running around.
