Some good news for Cinnamon!
This beautiful 9-month-old, 42 lb German Shepherd mix has had a difficult start to life. Found as a stray with a broken leg, Cinnamon was then saved at the very last minute from euthanasia due to overcrowding at the shelter.
Today brought the news we've all been hoping for. After being evaluated by the specialists at Skylos Sports Medicine, Cinnamon's leg is healing well on its own, and surgery is not needed. Her only long-term restriction is that she should avoid high-impact dog sports.
Despite everything she's been through, Cinnamon has remained incredibly sweet, affectionate, and trusting. She's crate trained, house trained, and loves nothing more than being close to her people.
