Meet Ralph, a 5-year-old Pomeranian/Papillon mix boy weighing 13 pounds. This handsome little guy is believed to have been a discarded breeding dog, but despite his past, Ralph is discovering just how wonderful life as a loved family member can be.
Ralph is a sweet, affectionate companion who absolutely loves attention. If you stop petting him too soon, he’ll politely let you know by pawing at your hand for more. He enjoys being near his people and is happiest when soaking up love and affection.
He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and has an easygoing personality with his canine friends. Ralph is crate trained, though he still appreciates a little encouragement when it’s time to go into his crate. He is also continuing to work on his house training and is making progress with patience and routine.
Ralph would thrive in a home that will give him the kindness, stability, and love he may not have experienced before. He is a gentle, loving little dog ready to enjoy the spoiled pet life he truly deserves.
If you are interested in adopting Ralph, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
