Meet Toast, the tortie cat. Toast came into the Shelter with her “sister wife” and their four co-parented kittens. Toast was indoor-outdoor in her previous home and may do well with a similar set up in the next one (after a 30 day acclimation period). Toast may be just as happy indoor only. Toast has experience around other felines and may enjoy a cat friend with a slow, thoughtful introduction. She does not have any history with dogs but has been around children of various ages. Toast has been a social butterfly since her arrival. Toast is available for pre-adoption. Come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
