Meet Maila! Despite her dramatic name, this pretty little lady is anything but a dark mistress. Maila is a sweet, misunderstood teen mom who was found living on the porch of an abandoned house in West Philly with her four kittens. A kind Good Samaritan reached out for help, and we quickly brought the family to safety.
Maila has been an incredibly devoted mother, continuing to dote on her babies even as they grow more independent. Now it's time for this young mom to find a home of her own.
Maila is petite, gentle, and affectionate. She may need a little time to warm up to other cats, though that could simply be her protective mom instincts. We aren't sure how she feels about dogs just yet. She would likely be happiest as an only cat or with a calm, respectful feline friend.
After raising her family, Maila is ready to leave motherhood behind and enjoy the spoiled house-cat life she deserves.
