If you need a serotonin boost to get you through the upcoming fall and earlier sunsets, a legume kitten is definitely the antidote! The legume kittens can only be described as a burst of kitten energy and kitten cuddles all wrapped into one big purr ball. These sweet babies are all very social, very playful, and quite loving. They love to play with each other and would be happy to be adopted with a sibling, but also alone would work with them. They do well when unfamiliar people are around as well. They always use their litter boxes, devour their wet food and munch all day on their dry food.Snow Pea is the timid little guy of the bunch. He puts a lot of thought and takes his time in new situations and with new people. He’s a gentle soul and has been known to cuddle up on a lap or lay next to a trusted person. He needs to do everything at his own pace, but once he feels safe he’ll be making biscuits and loudly purring away.Snow Pea is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after him neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week. Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
