Heidi is a beautiful petite dilute tortie. She suddenly lost her beloved owner earlier this year. She was completely disoriented, terrified, and shut down when she came to us.
She is a meek and shy tiny girlie, and wary for good reason. Her whole world has been turned upside down. But her potential is bubbling just underneath all of that. She loves pets, is interested in play and catnip, is interested in other kitties, and will call out to them throughout the house.
Heidi is currently being fostered in Lyons with her buddy, Lacey, who lived with her at her former owner’s house. They can be adopted together or separately as they are not bonded.
They are both vaccinated, fixed, and microchipped.
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
$350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$225 for kittens (6 months & under)
$150 for cats (older than 6 months)
$100 for senior cats (8 years or older)
