Kiwi is a 35 pound Lemon Beagle! This little gal brings the best of both worlds! She is always ready to adventure with you, but also loves sitting on your lap for hours afterward. She is house-trained and great in a kennel. Kiwi is very shy at first, but don’t be fooled, once she warms up she will want to show you her zooms followed by some belly rubs and cuddles. True to her hound roots, Kiwi loves using her nose and exploring new smells! She is very curious and looks forward to long walks with plenty of time to investigate! The outside world is very new to her, so she might need you to give her words of encouragement, or to pick her up and carry her past the scary things. She would love a patient home that can teach her how to face her fears. Kiwi’s goal is to reach her fitness target of 30 pounds, which will help her stay healthy and happy. She’s already mastered the sit command enjoys solving puzzles, and would do well with a playful, or very tolerant dog friend. While she’s still learning proper manners, she would be best suited for a home with older, dog-savvy children who can provide her with the guidance and love she needs. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
