Meet Velco, the 11 week old grey and white tabby kitten! Velcro was found as a stray, but he spent some time in a foster home until he was old enough to be adopted! Velcro was aptly named after his desire to constantly be with his person, whether that be for cuddles or playtime. He spent the first week in foster cuddling in a lap and purring away, but as he grew he got more and more adventurous! He enjoyed chasing and playing with the resident adult cat and loved to play with all sorts of toys. He breifly met small dogs in the foster home and did well with them, but a slow and thoughtful inroduction is always reccomended for introducing resident pets.Velcro would love to continue to grow up in an indoor home where he ( and wildlife) can be kept safe and healthy. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery.Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
