‘LORD OF THE RINGS' THEMED PUPPY: Approx. 5-6 months old / Approx. 19 lbs. & growing
Hi there, I'm Samwise, an adorable Lord of the Rings themed puppy! I'm a super fun and adorable puppy who came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a great home and family to raise me! I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I'm one of the best puppies in all of Middle Earth! Come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! I came down with a case of ringworm, but I've overcome that now, so I'm ready for the fun, training and love of a new home!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I loved my siblings and did well with the other dogs I met at Mostly Mutts, so if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a sweet, lovable puppy with a friendly, playful personality and a fun-loving spirit! I can be active, vocal, and full of puppy energy, but I also have a calm, gentle side. I may be a little apprehensive about being picked up at first, but once I'm in your arms, I relax, quietly take in the world around me, and show just how sweet I am. I was calm and cooperative during my medicated baths and am simply a happy boy throughout. I'm ready to bring lots of love, laughter, and puppy adventures to my furever family. / Energy level: currently 5-7, of course this could change as I grow up.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already learned the 'sit' and 'come' commands and I accept friendly strangers without jumping on them! I'd say that puts me at top of my class for a puppy! I look forward to learning more! Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs, once I've completed all of my puppy shots! I'm looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog—including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we'll all be happy—so get ready for some training with your new best friend. /I'm doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I'm still just a baby so I'll need my family to finish up my potty training in my new home.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love running and playing in the Mostly Mutts play yard, and squeaky soft toys are some of my favorites! Like any puppy, I enjoy playing, exploring, and having fun, and I'm sure once I'm settled into my forever home, we'll discover lots more things we will love doing together. / I can't think of things I don't like yet since I'm so young, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.
• MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I'm also micro-chipped and neutered. I'm receiving medicated baths twice a week for a little longer that can be done in my new home.
